Penticton is a wonderful leisure and active travel location nestled between two lakes. Although it won't be beach season, the fall still offers many family friendly activities in the area with lovely colours and comfortable temperatures.

A great variety of local and surrounding area vendors for you to peruse through and find some souvenirs at.

The Market runs through to the end of October and typically, the Thanksgiving weekend market is that last large market of the season!

Located a 20 minute scenic drive from Penticton in the quaint town of Okanagan Falls, is this lovely family owned corn maze!

A great attraction for the entire family and you can grab ice cream right after at the famous flagship Tickleberrys Ice cream shop or lunch at the awesome OK Falls Hotel & Pub (their fish and chips is fab)

The KVR is a well known attraction that stretches all through the South Okanagan Valley. Connecting over 660 kms distance, the trail follows the old railway lines that were used throughout the area back in the day!

Take a walk along the Naramata bench on the cliffs above the water. Take in the lovely views and stop at a winery or two along the way! You might even spot the giant silver TREX sculpture fondly referred to as "Alice" :P

Also a great option for bike rides if you decide to bring your bike or rent one from one of the local business that provide the service.
